Travel tips FROM LONDON TO ZERMATT
A traveler is planning a trip to Zermatt from December 21 to December 26 and is looking for the best way to get there from London. They want to know whether to fly to Geneva or Zurich and take a train to Zermatt, what train pass to buy, and where to book tickets.
- Book a flight to either Geneva or Zurich and then take a train to Zermatt, which takes about 9 hours total.
- Consider purchasing a Swiss Card or Swiss Transfer Ticket for your train journey to Zermatt.
- Check prices frequently as ticket costs vary by date and time, and book your hotel quickly since it’s a busy holiday week.

Hi,
I plan to travel to Zermatt from 21 Dec (check in) – 26 Dec (check out) 2014.
Would I take a flight from London to Geneva and then take a train to Zermatt, if so, what train and what pass should I buy? Is there a web link where I need to book my train tickets to Zermatt? How many hours will it take?
Or would I book from London to Zurich?
Please advise me the cheapest way possible from London to Zermatt as I have no idea what is where .etc.
Thank you!
