Hi,I would be grateful if you could let me know if I am able to break my journey to visit Lauterbrunnen while on the way back from Jungfraujoch mountain. If so how much time would I need to see Lauterbrunnen? When should I start my trip to the mountain? I will be staying at a hotel on Interlaken

If you stick to the village itself, you could see it in 30 minutes. Not much there, but it is lovely and the cow bells add to the ambiance. The falls outside the town add more time since they are a ways away.

    Hi Askar,

    Welcome to MySwissAlps.

It is certainly possible to combine a trip to Jungfraujoch with sightseeing in Lauterbrunnen on the way back to Interlaken.

I recommend visiting Jungfraujoch in the morning and then spend the afternoon in Lauterbrunnen (https://www.myswissalps.com/town/lauterbrunnen/).

You can find information on how to plan this excursion here: https://www.myswissalps.com/activity/jungfraujoch/#directions

    regards,

    Anna
