Hi. We are family of 4. We will be traveling to Switzerland on May 25 by rental car. We will arrive from Germany. We are planning to go to Interlaken and will stay there. We will go to mount Zungfuru for 1 day. Kindly suggest which pass we should buy to save on toll charges and train/gandula fairs. Children are 13 (wheelchair bound )and 8 years old. Kindly also suggest nearby places in Interlaken and Luzern.

    Hi Sukesh,

In general a Swiss Half Fare Card is the best rail pass for drivers. I think it will be for you as well. Please find all details through the link I inserted. Children will travel along for free if you order along the free Swiss Family Card. Our recommendations for the Interlaken and Lucerne regions can be found below:

By the way, you’re probably referring to Jungfraujoch when mentioning “Zungfuru”, correct? Please mind the right spelling, as things can get a little confusing otherwise ;-).

“The itinerary had great detail and a good choice of activities in each location. Very helpful to group things that can be done in the same day. Love that the options are linked to the website.”
