Need help to figure out which mountain/place (other than Jungfrau) will have guaranteed snow in the first week of August (as I heard the summers are quite strong this year around). My family has never seen snow (we are from the Middle East).

Apart from the Jungfraujoch you will find snow on any destination above 3’000 meters resp. 10’000 feet above sea level.

Hi Arti,

The places Steph mentioned are the best ones to consider, and I can add this one too: http://www.myswissalps.com/mi ttelallalin.

All these places are great to see snow. In many cases you can also walk in the snow, but that’s not a guarantee. Summers are rapidly getting warmer and August is the warmest time of year. There’s hardly any snow at Gornergrat today, for example. So do pick one of the highest places if you can. Altitudes can be found on all the linked pages.
