    Hello milredroyan,

Thanks for your sharing your plans.

Spring is approaching but we have still had some ‘fresh’ starts to the days and a real mix of rain and sunshine.

You can read about the weather in Switzerland in the link below. Within the webpage you will be able to research the weather forecast. Typically the forecasts are more accurate, 2 to 3 days in advance.

In regard to clothing, layers would be advisable and a rain/waterproof jacket. That way you can adapt if the weather changes throughout the day. So perhaps bring a backpack so you can also ‘stow away’ items if it gets warm during the course of the day.

If you plan on any mountain top excursions, it will be colder. If this is on your agenda, you should pack something warmer to accommodate.

There are many threads on this topic. It might be helpful to carry out a search in the top right hand side box so you can also read what other members have done. For example: https://www.myswissalps.com/forum/topic/what-to-wear-in-switzerland-in-may-2018

    Kind regards,
