How to get to the starting point of Furggstalden and route details.
How to get there and back
You will travel via Saas-Grund to Saas-Almagell by car or by bus. It takes 2 minutes to walk from the bus stop to the lift up to Furggstalden.
In order to return, take the bus from Zermeiggern to Saas-Almagell/Saas-Grund. Alternatively, you can walk to Saas-Almagell in about 45 minutes.
Route
From the lift, follow the signs to Furggalp. From Furggalp, head for the Antrona Pass via the left bank of the Furggbach. Turn round to take the same path back as you reach the bridge over the river after about 3 km (1.9 miles). Cross the bridge once you are back at Furggalp and head for Zermeiggern. You will reach the main asphalt road and a bus stop after a descent through the forest.
