Route details of the hike from Giw to Gspon

How to get there and back

You can travel to Visperterminen by car or by bus through a curvy mountain road. It takes a five minute walk to the gondola which will take you up to Giw.

From Gspon, take the cable car to the railway station Stalden-Saas. From Stalden you can travel by train to Visp/Brig or St.Niklaus/Zermatt, or by bus to Saas-Fee.

Route

From Giw, follow the signs 'Gspon' and 'Gspon Höhenweg'. Please note that there also is another route which runs lower and takes only two hours, but this isn't the suggested route.
