How to get there and back
Pontresina can be reached by car or by train from St. Moritz, Samedan or the Bernina Pass. There are bus services from St. Moritz, Celerina and Samedan as well. From St. Moritz, there are buses and trains to Pontresina and Samedan.
Route
The hike starts at the end of the parking lot, just north of the railway station in Pontresina. The path runs parallel to the railroads to St.Moritz and Samedan for a short while. Then two underpasses lead you to the other side of the tracks where an ascending path through the forest starts. It leads to the small lake of Lej da Staz. You continue your way via a paved road down to the lake of St.Moritz.
