Hi Arno and Annika,
We are traveling (a family of 8) to Lake Lucerne region (22 Oct – 26 Oct). As we will spend 5 nights there so have pre booked a 5 day tell pass. Here is what we have planned and needed some suggestions to further finalize the itinerary
a) Mount Titlis (I believe that cable cars are operational during this time) – does tell pass cover the ice flyer part as well ?
b) Mt Rigis
c) Mt Pilatus (via alpnachatad as cable cars are down)
d) Lucerne city sight seeing
Of course quite a few things will depend upon weather, Can you suggest other must dos or interesting thing to explore in lake Lucerne or nearby areas using our tell passes (which will be open during this time)?

Hi Vishal,
You’ve already picked top attractions in the Lake Lucerne region. You’re right about the Titlis: the cable car will be running during your stay. The Ice Flyer is covered by the Tell Pass too; please see the downloadable map at myswissalps.com/tellpa ss/validity. Pilatus can indeed only be reached by cog train from Alpnachstad.
Further for exploring Lucerne and its surroundings are listed at myswissalps.com/lucern e. The Museum of Transport and a boat ride over Lake Lucerne are interesting additions to your plans.
