G’day Noniep and Welcome to MySwissAlps
1. I guess you mean Jungfraujoch? Your 3-year-old will travel free anywhere. Your 8-year-old will travel free with a Swiss Family Card (http://www.myswissalps.com/sw issfamilycard) in conjunction with a Swiss Travel Pass (http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass) or Swiss Half Fare Card (http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isshalffarecard).
2. Kids will be free as in (1) above.

Hi
I have another question related to Jungfrau Travel Pass. Hope you don’t mind if i post my query here.
I will travelling with my parents who are senior citizen in end of April 2019, my mum requires wheelchair. I am travelling with car to Interlaken.
We will be staying at Interlaken for 4 days. We are planning to go to Jungfraujoch in one of the day.The remaining days to roaming around at Grindelwald,, Lauterbrunnen, Wengen, Jungfrau.
My questions:
1. Is Jungfraujoch and train friendly for people with wheelchair?
2. Which one is better to purchase. Jungfrau Travel Pass or Swiss Travel Pass? I need to buy a ticket to Jungfraujoch.
3. From my understanding, two ways to go Jungfraujoch:
1.) Interlaken Ost – Grindelwald – Kleine Scheidegg – Jungfraujoch or
2.) Interlaken Ost – Lauterbrunnen – Kleine Scheidegg – Jungfraujoch.
Does the ticket to Jungfraujoch start from Kleine Scheidegg for both Jungfrau Travel Pass and Swiss Travel Pass?
Thank you

In terms of which pass, you need to do the math and pick the winner. Bernese Oberlander va. Jungfrau vs half fare card. You can do this by checking cost of train tickets on Sbb site. Not sure about wheelchair access. Kids are free typically with appropriate travel card except top of Europe. Safe travels.

Hi ritaabr and welcome to MySwissAlps!
- Typically not very good on the mountain railways. But you can read through SBB’s website and request help where required here: http://www.sbb.ch/en/station-services/passengers-with-reduced-mobility/wheelchair-walking-impaired.html
- You’ll need to check your math and compare the rail passes once you’ve finalized your itinerary – it is the only way to know which pass is the best for you: http://www.myswissalps.com/tr ain/ticketspasses/prac tical/chooserailpass
- Most people do a round trip to Jungfraujoch, one-way via Grindelwald and the other via Lauterbrunnen. The Swiss Travel Pass covers trains as far as Wengen (just beyond Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald, the rest of the ticket is 25% off). The Jungfrau Travel Pass covers you to Eigergletscher and then rest is a fixed 69chf.
