Hello new friends,

Will be visiting Switzerland this summer and am in desperate need of itinerary planning assistance. Below are my travel dates and would prefer to see a nice sampling of Switzerland. Would really appreciate any insight and help building this out. I’m listing my dates with hopes people can provide a day by day recommendation? (pretty please) Willing to move hotels multiple times if required but would also like to minimize this if possible. Matterhorn is also one thing we really hope to include. Please help!

8.13 – Arrive in Zurich during the AM morning

8.14 –

8.15 –

8.16 –

8.17 –

8.18 – Depart Zurich around 9PM but prefer plenty of room for error

MySwissAlps doesn’t normally create itineraries because everyone’s goals are different. But seeing you asked so nicely and provided a template, here’s one. 🤓

8.13 – Arrive in Zurich train to Lucerne

8.14 – Lucerne

8.15 – Lucerne to Lugano via Gotthard Panorama Express (http://www.myswissalps.com/go tthardpanoramaexpress)

8.16 – Lugano

8.17 – Lugano to St Moritz via Palm Express Bus or Bernina Express (http://www.myswissalps.com/be rninaexpress)

8.18 – St Moritz to Zurich

That is just one of an infinite range of options.

Most people would probably suggest Lucerne and Jungfrau Region.

Another variation might be to go from Lugano to Zermatt via Locarno and Domodossola on the Centovalli Express then Zermatt to Zurich via Glacier Express (http://www.myswissalps.com/gl acierexpress) to Chur and on to Zurich in time for flight.

I like trains hence the “Express” suggestions. Depends how much travelling and how much wandering about you prefer.
