Hi,

My family and I would like to travel to different cities from Switzerland to Italy. We have a total of 7 people, and we will be spending 8 days, 7 nights in both country.

However, we have not allocated the number of days to spend in both countries. I was searching on the Swiss Travel Pass and Eurorail pass, but it was very complicated.

Please feel free to provide any recommendations for:

1. Itinerary

2. Travel route (which train to take)

We don’t create itineraries here, as there are simply too many options to randomly recommend :-). You’ll have to find a schedule that fits your needs and preferences, and we do offer a lot of tricks and tools to get started. In your case a north-south train route might work, which could include Zurich (http://www.myswissalps.com/zu rich), Lucerne (http://www.myswissalps.com/lu cerne), the Jungfrau region (http://www.myswissalps.com/ju ngfrauregion) and/or Zermatt (http://www.myswissalps.com/ze rmatt). You could then head for Italy. But again, that’s just one of the very many possible itineraries. I recommend you startt off reading the pages below. Once you have a tentative schedule, feel free to share it here and we’ll be able to provide specific tips.
