Hi guys, i want to seek advice. I’ve been planning my short trip to Switzerland. My temporary itinerary as follows :

On 26th Nov – I will depart from Milan and arrive in Zurich at 10.50 am. On this day i will check in to my accomodation in spreitenbach first then visit Grindelwald & Lauterbrunnen. Also if possible, Jungfraujoch as well.

On 27th Nov – I will go to Lucerne & explore Mt. Titlis (may be i will take mt. Titlis tour if i don’t buy the swiss half fare card & don’t go to Jungfraujoch) – what do u guys think ?

On 28th Nov – I will explore the city and leave Zurich in the afternoon using aeroplane.

Is it possible with the above timetables as the trip to Jungraujoch from Zurich will take 4 hours ? Also should i buy the swiss half fare card for my short visit ?

    Thank you.

    Hi LukitoHu,

    Welcome to MySwissAlps!

As you will be arriving in the late morning of the 26th, I think it would make more sense to visit Lucerne and Mount Titlis on the first day of your arrival, and go to Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen the next day. If you take the earliest train out on the 27th, you will have more than enough time to go up the Jungfraujoch and visit Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen.

Getting the Swiss Half Fare Card is a good idea. But you might also want to consider getting the 3-day Swiss Travel Pass.
