    Hi Pyecob,

Yes, with a little work and some time spent on train it can be done. 🙂

You’ll need to go to Zermatt (or Andermatt) to pick up the Glacier Express to St. Moritz (or Chur) on June 2 and then take the Bernina Express from St. Moritz (or Chur) on to Tirano on June 3. Then regional Italian trains on to Venice.

You can find all the schedules using the Swiss railways timetable. The express trains are denoted as GEX and BEX. You can also travel the same routes on regional trains if the timings don’t work well for you. If you take the express trains reservations are mandatory. Thanks for the feed back. We were wondering if you join the glacier express at Andermatt what is the best way to get there from Lucerne in time to catch the GEX?

    Hi Pyecob,

The timetable will show you the GEX leaves Andermatt at 10:54 (June 3 for example). You’ll need to search for trains from Lucerne arriving before 10:45 or so to catch it.

I’d grab the 08:20 departure with 1 change in Göschenen to arrive at Andermatt at 10:14
