We are staying in Zermatt from September 23-26 and Grindelwald from September 26-30. We want to go to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise and Gornergrat. It was recommended to buy a peak2peak ticket but it looks like it is not running because I can’t purchase any tickets. Is this correct? Second question is which do you think is better to visit: Matterhorn Glacier Paradise or Jungfraujoch? Or should we visit both? Thanks for for help. Cindy

Hi Clcavano,

The Peak2Peak Ticket(Zermatt) is available in July and August and from November to April. Instead of this ticket, you can buy a Swiss Travel Pass (http://www.myswissalps.com/swisstravelpass/price) or a Swiss Half Fare Card (http://www.myswissalps.com/swisshalffarecard/price) for your Swiss holiday.

It is difficult to tell you, which one is better, Klein Matterhorn or Jungfraujoch. I, personally prefer Gornergrat (Zermatt) and Schilthorn (Jungfrau region). 🙂

Yes we have purchased the Swiss Rail Pass. I will read more about these mountains. They all sound phenomenal! Cindy
