Swiss Promotion 2 For 1 pass
Glenam is planning a trip in the coming months, starting from Geneva and visiting Zermatt, Interlaken, and Zurich. They want to know if they need to make seat reservations for their train travels and if their Swiss Promotion 2 for 1 pass provides discounts on gondolas and mountain trains like those to Matterhorn, Jungfraujoch, and Mt Titlis.
- You don't need to make seat reservations for regular trains; only scenic trains like the Golden Pass Line require them.
- Your Swiss Promotion 2 for 1 pass offers a 50% discount on most mountain transportation, but for Jungfraujoch, it's only a 25% discount.
- For discounted tickets on mountain trips, show your pass at the valley station; no reservations are needed except for the Golden Pass.

I recently purchased a Swiss Promotion 2 for 1 pass for a trip that I will undertake later this year. We plan to go to the following places in Switzerland … starting from Geneva -> Zermatt -> Interlaken and then finally Zurich
Do I need to make seat reservations for any of these train trips in advance ?
Also does this pass entitle me for discount of 50% on most gondolas, funiculars and mountain trains across Switzerland like the trip to Matterhorn, Jungfraujoch and Mt Titlis ??
