We are leaving Lucerne to stay in Wengen and it looks like we have to first take the Golden Pass Train (Luzern-Interlaken Express) to Interlaken OST and then we change but I see nothing about the change … is the train in the same station for Wengen? Do we need a seat reservation for any part of this journey? We will have a First Class Rail Ticket

    thanks

    Hi Aligold,

are you going to have a rail ticket or a pass? (You mentioned ticket in the post but the title of the thread says pass).

You are going to travel from Lucerne to Interlaken Ost (http://www.myswissalps.com/goldenpass/gettingthere), then you need to change in Interlaken. Next you go to Lauterbrunnen where you need to change again to Wengen. You do not need to change stations only platforms. You’ll find all of the information if you click on the + sign in the timetable (http://www.myswissalps.com/timetable, use the advanced one).

I’ve attached a sample timetable for you, but make sure to check it for your date and time.

No seat reservation is needed from Lucerne to Interlaken.

Great, Swiss Travel Pass is usually a good choice it makes your travel easy and you can stay flexible with it. Here is how you can use the pass: http://www.myswissalps.com/swisstravelpass/howtouse.
