    Hi Team,

I am aware that traveling to Zermatt via train is free under swiss travel pass however I am not able to get the fare if i want to travel till Stellisee lake.

Can you please help me with the link/ charges for

    1. Funicular from Zermatt to Sunnegga

    2. Gondola from Sunnegga to Blauherd.

I think lake is walking distance from Blauhed.

Basically I will be travelling so far since I am into photography and would like capture Matterhorns pic from Lake. You can suggest and Alternative if there is any to Stellisse.

    Thank you

    Hi Pravin S!

Correct, the Stellisee is at a 20 minutes walk from Blauherd. You can check prices through http://www.myswissalps.com/sunneggarothorn/tickets. Your Swiss Travel Pass gets you 50% off. It’s (partly) visible at the validity map at myswissalps.com/swisst ravelpass/validity if you zoom in at the area south-east of Zermatt. The discount is also mentioned below the price overview I linked to.

An alternative for Matterhorn photography would be the Riffelsee along the Gornergrat railway line (myswissalps.com/gorner grat). This hike might interest you: myswissalps.com/hiking /rotenboden-riffelalp.

    Hey Annika,

Thanks. Consider myself lucky enough to receive feedback from one of the co-founder of MySwissAlp 🙂 Must say this a very great initiative started by you & it is very helpful for people like us 🙂

I will plan Stellisee since I will be travelling from Thun which should ideally take 4 hrs (to n fro) so hike would be bit tedious but still thanks for suggesting an alternative. Cheers.

    Regards,

    Pravin
