Welcome to MySwissAlps! You could consider spending 5 nights in Lauterbrunnen, and do a day trip to Bern on a day with least favorable weather for mountain activities. It’s only 1h20 by train. You could also visit Thun that day if you think a few hours per city is enough.

Thanks so much for your response! I like the idea of doing a day trip to Bern from Lauterbrunnen. I currently have a single hostel at Camping Jungfrau and could look to start it a day earlier and then do a day trip to Bern. I have a friend who recommended Bern but more recommendations are always good food for thought.
Do you think the Half Fare card could be better than the Jungfrau or Bernese Oberland travel passes if I go this route? I’ll continue to read throughout the site, but thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask.
