For the Jungfrau part of the trip I recommend you stay in Wengen, a sunny, car-free town high above the Lauterbrunnen Valley, with sweeping views of the valley, mountains and several waterfalls (a 12-minute train ride from Lauterbrunnen). You can take the Mannlichen gondola (departing from central Wengen) to Mannlichen peak for stunning views of the Jungfrau, Eiger and Monch. There are numerous hiking trails from Wengen and the town has a swimming pool and a playground. A must see nearby are Trummelbach Falls, powerful flows of glacial water inside a mountain. They are unlike anything you have probably ever seen and can be reached from Lauterbrunnen by a 10-15 min bus ride. You should consider the 3-day Jungfrau travel pass that allows unlimited use of the mountain trains, gondolas, and boat in the area (there is a surcharge for the train going to the top of the Jungfrau).

Wengen happens to be my favorite place to stay in the Jungfrau region, but there are plenty of good choices:

The four nice villages close to the Jungfrau are described in that link. Interlaken larger, and is a good transport hub, but it is not so charming or scenic as the four villages listed. Of the 4, Grindelwald is the most commercial and the most spread out. Lauterbrunnen is in the valley, with good connections and access to the waterfalls. Mürren and Wengen are up on the sides of the Lauterbrunnen Valley with great views.
The Jungfrau region is the better of the two for waterfalls.
I have attached some images from a trip in 2009, going up to Männlichen by cableway from Wengen, and walking to Kleine Scheidegg. That walk is spectacularly scenic and rather easy. Easy enough to have the nickname “The Grannies’ Walk.”
My then 8 year old granddaughter (and her mother) had a wonderful time on it, although I’m not sure about a 4 year old’s stamina:

Thanks all for your replies. I have got fair idea about the must visit attractions around Jungfrau region.Which is best travel pass Bernese Oberland pass or Swiss travel pass ? It is confusion among Jungfrau pass vs Bernese Oberland pass or Swiss travel pass for 3 to 4days for Schilthorn and Jungfrau Top of Europe discounts.As we are interested in public transport and less likely in hiking or long walks due to kids.Top priorities are Schilthorn and Jungfrau Top of Europe in the Jungfrau region with Cable car or mountain trains.
