7 day trip in Dec to Lauterbrunnen & Zermatt

Day trips to the Titlis, Jungfraujoch and Gornergrat (cogwheel train) will be open. It will be freezing up top so be sure to dress warm: wind resistant coat, warm clothes (plus thermal long johns and top), solid shoes with a tread bottom sole, warm cap, gloves, sunglasses, etc.

You didn’t mention what would be your mode of transportation while you are in Switzerland. I took the liberty to attach some information about traveling in Switzerland and specifically by train. As you will see under “Dates of Operation” on below link the Schilthorn will NOT be accessible on the 3rd of December.

You can always also use the timetable to search for any route on a specific date to find out if there’s a connection. (If there isn’t you’ll get an error message.)
