Itinerary advice 10 days Switzerland in December
A traveler is planning a trip to Switzerland in December and seeks advice on their itinerary, which includes cities like Lucerne, Zermatt, and Interlaken. They will be using a car and trains but are unsure if they are missing out on spectacular views and whether their trip order is logical.
- Consider using the Swiss Half Fare Card for cost-effective travel on certain routes, especially for expensive destinations like Jungfraujoch.
- The Tell Pass covers popular mountains including Mt. Titlis, Mt. Pilatus, and Mt. Rigi, making it a great choice for your stay in Lucerne.
- Try to visit Interlaken right after Lucerne for a smoother travel experience.
- Choose between a day trip to Geneva or Mont Blanc, as trying to do both in one day will be rushed.
