Rainy day activities in the Grindelwald area
A group of 8 friends rented a villa in Grindelwald for a week, focusing on outdoor activities like hiking and biking. They are looking for fun alternatives for rainy days and also plan to visit Lucerne and Zurich afterward, with a Rhine river cruise in between.
- Visit the Sportzentrum in Grindelwald for indoor activities like ice skating, rock climbing, and swimming.
- Consider day trips to nearby towns like Interlaken and Bern if the weather gets bad.
- For longer trips, early departures can make day visits to Zermatt feasible.
- Check the local timetable for train and bus routes for more options.

HI,
Our group of 8 have rented a villa out to spend a week in Grindelwald . We love hiking and anything outdoor..biking etc.. I am making plans for our week there but want to see what we can do on days that are too rainy to hike. Any recommendations would be great. After we leave Grindelwald we will be in Lucerne for a couple nights and Zurich for a night(probably head to Konstanz to take a Rhine river cruise to Stein am Rhein and Schaffhausen that day before flying back to the US.
