hi we are 3 adults travelling most probably in the month of August to Switzerland. we plan to do local sightseeing in Lucerne and Interlaken along with Mt Rigi, Stanserhorn, Schilthorn and either Grindelwald First or Jungfrau (one of the two). we may add either mount Pilatus or mount Titlis depending on the time we have left. in addition we are also exploring the villages of Lauterbrunnen, Murren and Gimmelwald. A total of 5 days in the Lucern/Interlaken region. Hence a regional berner oberland should make sense. However we also will be taking the Golden Pass train to Montreux and spending a day in Zurich and two days in Zermatt with the mountain excursions in Zermatt. We might also add in the Glacier Express if time permits instead of a mountain excursion in Zermatt. In this case which pass do you recommend for us?

You are covering too wider number of areas for just a Berner Oberland Regional Pass. A Swiss Travel Pass would be best overall in your case.

You’ll find the validity map of the Regional Pass Bernese Oberland here: http://www.myswissalps.com/regionalpassberneseoberland/validity. As you can see on the map, many of your places aren’t covered by this pass (like Rigi, Pilatus, Zermatt etc.)

I am with 1960man, a Swiss Travel Pass would be better for your itinerary. See the validity area here: http://www.myswissalps.com/swisstravelpass/validity.
